This first issue of the Mannheim Student Working Papers contains research papers by students of the University of Mannheim. This volume contains an analysis based on the Kirchheim account book of Barbara von Speyer published in issue 1. 

The third volume of the Mannheim Working Papers on Premodern Economic History contains the annotated partial transcription of a 15th century monastic account book. 

This volume contains four articles dealing with different methdological appoaches on medieval economic and social history. The articles present case studies for the methods of economic topography of late medieval cities, agent-based modelling of the Hanse trade netzwork, prosopography of late medieval guild members and land assessment in Scotland. The results have been previously presented by the authors at the 8th annual conference of the reserach group for late medieval economic history in Summer 2021.
